Thanks to everyone who took part in our fantastic production of Bugsy Malone which ran over two nights this week. Well done to all students and staff who took part for all their hard work over the course of the year. Please enjoy a slideshow of photos from the show.
To celebrate International Women’s Day on Wednesday, Year 9 students were coding in Python to make the Venus/Female symbol in different colours.
Year 7 and 8 students were carrying out searches on the internet to discover what International Women’s Day is and why it is important.

The English department with Year 7 during the World Book Day awards assembly.
The 20th anniversary of World Book Day took place on Thursday, and Marden were active participants as usual. Staff, Year 7 and Year 8 students were invited to dress as a literary character for the day. There was also a lunchtime quiz and Key Stage 3 students took part in literary activities and writing competitions with the English department all day.
In total, £200.30 was raised for BOOK AID. Well done to everyone who took part.
