The Real Schools Guide, published this week, ranks Marden High as the best school in North Tyneside and as number 5 in the whole of the North East region. This guide takes into account a wide range of indicators to evaluate a school’s performance. It tracks achievement, attendance, teaching, how well the school is preparing pupils for the future and whether it is improving. The fact that we have done so well is a great accolade to the efforts of our whole school community of students, staff, parents and carers, and governors. This is an achievement we can all be very proud of, whilst at the same time we remember that there is still more we can do to improve our children’s education even further.
