County Success in Cricket, Rounders and Tennis
After some excellent recent sporting success for our tennis, basketball and athletics teams, Marden has excelled again, with the U13 boys becoming NORTH TYNESIDE CRICKET CHAMPIONS and the U12 girls becoming NORTH TYNESIDE ROUNDERS CHAMPIONS!
Yr7 & 8 with the trophy after victory at Tynemouth Cricket Club
The Year 7 and Year 8 cricket team were crowned North Tyneside Champions on Friday 13th June, going on to finish third in the County tournament the following week in Hexham. Well done boys!
Meanwhile, the North Tyneside Under 12 Girls Rounders Tournament was held at John Spence on Wednesday 25th June 2014.
4 schools were entered including Marden, John Spence, St.Thomas More and Churchill College.
