Free Gardening Equipment for Schools

For every £10 you spend (in store or online) at Morrisons, you’ll get a Grow Token to help your school get everything they need to get growing.

Download the My Morrisons app or log into your online account today to start collecting Grow Tokens and choose Marden High School as the school to donate them to.

Simply scan your digital My Morrisons or physical card in store, or link your My Morrisons card to your online account to get Grow Tokens every time you shop.

Here at Marden, we will be able to exchange your Grow Tokens for FREE gardening equipment to get our students growing!

For every £10 spent in store or online you will receive one Grow Token in your My Morrisons account, which will then go to Marden to redeem against gardening equipment. The collection period is open now and finishes on Sunday 24th October. Thanks!

Summer Raffle Winners!

Thank you to everyone who took part in the PTA Summer Raffle and to everyone who supported the Marden High Parent-Teacher-Association and the school. Well done to our winners!

PTA Summer Raffle!

A reminder that raffle tickets are still available to buy now for our Parent-Teacher Association Summer Raffle! They are £1 and available on ParentPay, or during first break (for both KS3 and KS4) in the LRC or the school office.

Our Year 10 House Captains (Warkworth, Alnwick, Bamburgh and Dunstanburgh) have been gathering prizes based related to four different categories: Connection, Environment, Wellbeing and the Local Area. The draw will be made on Monday 12th July. Good luck!

Community Clothing Scheme

The PTA are collecting items of school uniform that are no longer needed to pass on to the Community School Clothing Scheme.
This is an organisation based at the Cobalt which provides uniform, along with other items to families struggling to source them including coats, bags, shoes etc.
All have to be in good condition and any donations can be dropped off at school reception.
For more information follow THIS LINK to their Facebook page.
Thank you!

Upcoming Charity Event

Marden High School would like to formally invite everyone in our school community to a forthcoming charity event organised by the Cullercoats Primary School PTA. The charity evening will take place at Cullercoats Crescent Club on Saturday 16 March at 7.00pm.

It is in aid of the Olly Bilcliffe Trust and there will be music from a live band and a disco. Tickets are £5 which includes a pie and pea supper.

This event is being organised by Cullercoats PTA. Please see the poster for more details.

PTA Appeal!

Do you have any unwanted Christmas gifts? Our Parent-Teacher Association is making an appeal for any suitable donations that someone else could make use of, and would make great prizes for future raffles or tombolas. These could be unwanted chocolates, drinks, toys or other unused gifts.

Please bring any donations to the school’s reception or LRC and students will be rewarded with 10 house points. Thank you!
