Marden High were well represented at Saturday’s Mouth of the Tyne Festival in Tynemouth, meeting at Priory Primary School yard before the parade.

In a World Cup themed celebration, Marden represented the Ivory Coast, adorned in orange as the Samba Band, led by Mr. Evans, paraded down Front Street.

There was also some stunning artwork on show from Mr. Prytherch and Miss Purrett’s team of artists, who designed posters and decorated t-shirts for the parade, which included Tynemouth’s mayor Norma Redfearn. For more photos and videos check our Twitter accounts.
