Year 7 enjoyed their first ever Super Learning Day on Thursday, learning about sea creatures and the density of salt water, amongst numerous other Science related topics.
Students were split into groups for various activities during the day. They visited the Blue Reef Aquarium on Tynemouth Sea Front and got up close and personal with various sea creatures.
They then made ‘Sea Predator Top Trumps’, accessing Media software to produce their own versions of the popular card game using sea predators.
In the afternoon there then followed various Science experiments in the laboratories, as the students investigated what makes the coast special. All agreed it was indeed a super day!
