Proposed new school sketch

We are delighted to announce that we have received final government confirmation of funding for a brand new school building.

This means that Marden High School will be rebuilt and transformed into a state of the art place of learning fit for a 21st century curriculum. We expect it to be open for business in the academic year of 2016-17.

Headteacher, Jonathan Morris, is understandably overjoyed: “This confirmation marks a new chapter in the history of the school. Here is our chance to raise standards even further by providing an ideal learning environment for generations to come.

“This opportunity would not have occurred without the great team work between our governing body and North Tyneside Council in securing this central government capital funding. I must take this opportunity to pay tribute to everyone involved.”
