Mr Prytherch

My role as Head of Year 8 is to encourage, guide and support pupils’ wellbeing and academic achievement at school, ensuring students achieve to the best of their ability, in addition to developing and growing as a person. This is achieved by monitoring behaviour, progress, attendance and pastoral intervention, which can take many forms and be tailored for the individual. Year 7 was an important year for settling in and becoming used to the Marden way of life.

In year 8 we will continue to build on this and ensure that all students are developing independence in the way they approach their work in school. We will continue to develop social skills and promote an increasing level of autonomy. Regular check ins with the year 8 pastoral team will be key in helping this.

You can catch me in my office (downstairs on the IT corridor, shared with Miss Laing) or in the Art department.
