So I am sat in the Incheon International Airport, waiting to board and I am not surprised in the slightest that there is WiFi everywhere.
The last 2 days have been great, nice to catch up with all of the other teachers, share stories and reflect on our experience. Thursday, we had a bit of a touristy day, dressing up in traditional robes and sharing tea and music at a museum.
We also managed to go up Seoul Tower and take some final photos of this fantastic city. I have fallen in love with the place and have found myself telling people that it could be my no.1 in the world….maybe! Friday we all shared final presentations, said our goodbyes to the hosts and other teachers and everyone went their separate ways.
If I had to wrap things up in a word, I think I would say ‘smile’. It seems to be all I have been doing over the last 3 weeks, whether teaching kids, meeting new people or taking in breathtaking views, everything has made me smile. I have been immensely fortunate to have been a part of this fantastic opportunity and experience. I would like to thank everyone involved from home and Korea, it has been unbelievable. I now aim to develop the links I have made to make sure the opportunity is still there for someone else next year. Thank you once again for having me Korea.
Have a fantastic summer everyone and a well earned rest.
I’m off to Bali…
