Marden has now selected its stories and are hard at work gathering interviews.  Our stories include:

• Marden is 50 – Marden High School is 50 years old this year and we are planning a celebration for the school later this year.
• The Olympic torch coming to the area – Its been going around the country and soon it’s coming to North Tyneside.
• Afghanistan memorial garden destruction – Reaction and comments.
• English literacy results in schools
• NUFC to Europe – Newcastle United European hopes
• Help for Heroes
• and of course, the weather
