Schools representing South Tyneside, Gateshead, Newcastle, Sunderland and North Tyneside took part in the Tyne and Wear Games – Level 3 Regional Finals.

The events were the 2 lap race, 4 lap race, 4 x 2 lap relay and the 8 lap Paarluf relay. The field events were the standing vertical jump, the standing long jump, the speed bounce and the shot.

Our squad included:- Amy Hedworth, Hannah Oliver, Laura Kirkpatrick, Sophie Blenkinsop, Rebecca Moore, Katy Ellwood and Grace Fatkin.

The standard of competition was extremely high and our team did themselves proud,  rising to the challenge.
