Our reporters are out and about filming their interviews and pieces to camera. Today’s stories include a report about the school’s recent Ofsted visit, a sports report about the science of the penalty shoot-out, a film preview report with awards season looming, a report about Maths results affecting girls and a report about the twentieth anniversary of the Fifa computer game and its social and cultural impact.
Our reporters have watched some of last month’s practice reports, and are now getting some top tips from BBC Look North presenter Mark Tulip ahead of looking over this morning’s papers for ideas on the news storied they could cover today.

Maintaining our strong links with the BBC, Year 9 and 10 students have been working with BBC journalist Judith Burns on an article about the 1944 Education Act. Look out for the report, including video and audio footage, in the near future.
