Our reporters are hard at work planning their stories. We have four groups working on some intriguing reports:
- International Women’s Day; its impact and what we did in school.
- Brexit; how triggering Article 50 might affect Marden High School students.
- Sport; we have had some great sporting successes recently.
- Mental Health in schools; always a hot topic, what can be done and what are we doing?

This Thursday sees the long awaited return of BBC News School Report Day. Look out for the reports by our intrepid Year 8 and Year 9 team populating this page in the afternoon, and our regular updates throughout the day.
2016 marks the tenth year of BBC News School Report day, and Marden High School have been there since the very beginning.
Back in 2007 we broadcast live on BBC Breakfast, in 2014 BBC Look North reported live from our Media Studio and this year we were lucky enough to chat to BBC weather reporter Carol Kirkwood about our current reports.
