As you are aware Ofsted conducted a short ‘Section 8’ inspection at the end of September this year at Marden. These new Ofsted Section 8 inspections are short inspections of schools currently judged as ‘Good’ and determine whether the school continues to provide a good standard of education and that safeguarding is effective. On this basis, a Section 8 inspection cannot result in an outstanding judgement. We are proud of our report and how it reflects our school community, and you can read the full report here.
