27 Year 11 students visited Geneva this weekend, accompanied by Science and Maths staff. The main focus of the visit was to go to CERN to see the Large Hadron Collider and learn more about the standard particle model.

As well as that, they visited the United Nations headquarters, looked at art installations around the city and famous landmarks such as the Jet d’Eau. The students also experienced traditional Swiss cuisine and entertainment at the Edelweiss restaurant, plus a boat trip across Lake Geneva.

Thanks to all staff and students who made it a busy, culture packed weekend!
