It has been a fantastic adventure in New York City, but the 37 students and 8 members of staff which accompanied them are now all home safe and sound, after a jam-packed last day in the Big Apple.

In the morning we split up into small groups, with some going to the fantastic Museum of Modern Art…

MoMA

…and some going to the awe-inspiring Natural History Museum, where Mrs Brolly made a new friend…

Another group went up the Empire State Building on a misty morning, whilst the rest did what we did best, and went shopping on 5th Avenue!

By lunchtime we all met up again and experienced our first bit of rain of the trip, but it did not dampen spirits, and the autumn leaves of Central Park looked impressive as a few students took in the John Lennon memorial at Strawberry Fields and the Dakota Building whilst others…shopped, obviously.

It was soon time to get our bags and cases onto the coach from the hotel, and start a long journey back, but everyone is unanimous that they had an awesome time in the city that never sleeps. So long New York!
