For the benefit of those who missed our Year 11 study evening, or a recap for those students, parents and carers who attended, here are the presentations that were shown on that evening.

On Tuesday 19th September we will be welcoming parents and carers of Year 11 to an Information Evening in the Auditorium. There will be a brief presentation from myself and the Head of Year, Mr Scott, followed by a series of three workshops on how best students can prepare for exams in this important year and how parents can best support them. This will be an important evening as we work closely together, school and home, to get the best for our children.

Following our successful OFSTED inspection at the end of last term, we are pleased to see that Marden rates as one of the best schools in the North East according to the Real Schools Guide published this month. This is an important guide as it takes into account more than just our good exam results, focusing also on some of those additional elements that parents are looking for in a school such as attendance, pupil-teacher ratios, and parental satisfaction.
