VODA are currently recruiting for the last few places on their Summer NCS programme, which is an excellent opportunity for Y11 pupils to make extraordinary friendships, learn skills not taught in school and create unforgettable memories. It takes place outside of term time and last summer it allowed 152 young people to build their confidence and independence whilst spending two weeks away from home and delivering a project for their local community. North Tyneside Local Authority has decided to consult on its proposed admission arrangements for Community Schools and on behalf of Governing Bodies for Trust Schools including Grasmere Academy for September 2017.
Admission Authorities must consult on the arrangements in accordance with statutory regulations including Parents. Carers, all schools (including Voluntary Aided and Foundation Schools and Academies) and neighbouring Local Authorities about the admission arrangements for September 2017 by 31 January 2016.
