MARDEN HIGH – 1 : 6 – ST. THOMAS MORE
Marden’s Year 7s were beaten 6-1 in their first ever game at home to St. Thomas More in a rain-sodden encounter at home on Monday evening. It was a tough start, going down 4-0 at half time after a defensive slip and a fluked cross caught the U12s out, but there was an encouraging second half performance, with Aaron Gordon scoring a well taken deflected free-kick to pull it back to 5-1 before a penalty for Tommy More ended the scoring.
Well done to all involved for a spirited performance.
