Students who sat their GCSEs in 2021 can collect their exam certificates from Reception between 3.30pm and 4:00pm on Tuesday 8th and Wednesday 9th March. Certificates need to be collected by the student.

North Shields Heritologists – Mary Ann Macham’s Story

The North Shields Heritologists have been working with a group of Year 9 History students to create an animation about Mary Ann Macham, an escaped slave who found her way from Virginia, USA and arrived in North Shields on Christmas Day 1831.

Yesterday they presented certificates to the students. If you haven’t already seen their stop-motion animation, here it is:
