Following the information released before the Easter holidays, Ofqual are inviting feedback to the following consultation document:
Exceptional arrangements for exam grading and assessment in 2020
This consultation will be open for 2 weeks starting on 15 April 2020 and ending on 29 April 2020 at 23:45
Dear Parent/Carer,
At this difficult time when your children are being asked to access learning at home, we realise that most of this learning is done online, and that some families may not have access to the technology.
Smartphones are great for many simple tasks but they can make other tasks difficult or impossible in some cases.
North Tyneside Council is looking at different ways to try to support families to ensure that every child can access online home learning easily. If you believe your family would benefit from additional support in this area please click the link below and complete this short form.
All information gathered is solely for the purpose of getting support to these families and will not be shared beyond North Tyneside Council
The deadline for this is 5pm on Thursday 16 April 2020.
DC3 for Year 11 are now on the ParentPortal. These reports reflect where
pupils are currently at. If you have difficulty logging in, please contact

We would like to share the PE & School Sport Team’s “Weekly Challenge”. This week was due to be the North Tyneside Schools Dance Festival over 4 nights. We hope to still celebrate this by inviting you to take part in “Icons” Virtual Dance Festival 2020.
We would like as many young people to be involved as possible, not only from those schools who were due to perform in the festival this week but those who performed in the North Shields festival earlier this month.
We would like the young people’s creations to be submitted via social media using the @NorthTynesidePE handle by 12pm on Friday 3rd April or students could simply complete this & perform at home with their families!
