There are many exciting reports being prepared about next week’s Takeover Day:
How do the staff feel about wearing school uniform?
What would the students pick if they could choose the lunchtime menus?
Should the students run lunchtime sporting activities?
Our Year 8s have gathered some excellent interviews and are now uploading their footage and starting to edit their reports about Takeover Week.
BBC School Report is up and running, Marden Year 8 students are today focusing on next week’s Takeover Week, when students get the opportunity to decide what goes on in and around the school. One group has already interviewed Mr. Morris about the exciting new plans for the LRC, and the other groups are now out and about gathering footage for their reports.

Mrs. Williams brought two of her Year 10 Science classes into the Media Studio this term, to edit their clay animations on antigens and defending against disease. Here are the winning animations from both groups.

This year Marden celebrated its 50th anniversary. On the 2nd of May this year, this short video was made to show a typical school day for the staff and students. It was first shown at the Photography Exhibition that was part of Marden’s Golden Jubilee celebrations on the 8th of July.
