Wear Red Day – This Friday!

Each October Show Racism The Red Card holds its annual WEAR RED DAY, a national day of action which encourages schools, businesses and individuals to wear red to highlight an ongoing campaign to work with more young people and adults across the UK to challenge racism in society.

All last week, School of Sanctuary students at Marden delivered assemblies preparing students by raising problems of racism and discrimination, and students have been learning more in specially planned PD lessons.

We are taking part this Friday 12th October, encouraging students to wear red for a £1 donation. Click the image for more information on the campaign!

PTA Grand Autumn Raffle

Marden High PTA are holding a Grand Autumn Raffle. Tickets are being sent home with students on Friday 5th October. Please support us if you can by buying a book of tickets and returning the stubs and cash to school, or if you do not wish to take part, please return the full book of tickets.
There are loads of great prizes to be won so please support us if you can!

Summer Concert: This Wednesday

Introducing our Head Girl and Head Boy

After an extensive campaign, our candidates for Head Girl and Head Boy for the next academic year have been chosen, and we are delighted to announce Kate Edwardson and Joel Campbell to the roles.

As the standard of application was so strong, they will be supported by the fellow nominees as part of a senior prefect team. Here is their pledge:

If the form has been misplaced, you can download a copy below and print it off if you have access to a printer.

Please note that parents of Year 11 do not need to return this form.
