Details about our upcoming Summer Concert on Wed 5 July.
We have been in our new building now for nearly a full academic year, and are delighted to announce an official opening on Wednesday 12 July at 3:30pm.
The elected mayor of North Tyneside, Norma Redfearn, will officially open the new building, with invited special guests and local dignitaries. The event is a free ticketed event, but as tickets are limited students will be restricted to just two per student.
We will also include a performance by our Drama and Music students and tours of the new building.
FREE TICKETS are available to collect from the school’s reception from Monday 19 June.
Congratulations to Nieve Allott and Monty Douglass who have been appointed as Head Girl and Head Boy respectively, for the 2017/18 academic year.
In July, our Year 7s will have the opportunity to spend a day studying flight for our fantastic Science Super Learning Day!
They will be looking at the adaptations of birds of prey, courtesy of staff from Kielder Birds of Prey Centre, and they will also spend the day building and testing rockets and helicopters.
We will be holding a Parent Forum Meeting on Monday 26 June 2017 at 4.00pm and this will be an opportunity for relatively small groups of parents and carers to come into school to discuss school and community life with myself and our Deputy Head, Ms Wallace. In order to aid discussion, numbers will be limited, so if you would like to come along please call my PA, Mrs Elaine Scott, to book a place.
