Our Year 8s have gathered some excellent interviews and are now uploading their footage and starting to edit their reports about Takeover Week.
BBC School Report is up and running, Marden Year 8 students are today focusing on next week’s Takeover Week, when students get the opportunity to decide what goes on in and around the school. One group has already interviewed Mr. Morris about the exciting new plans for the LRC, and the other groups are now out and about gathering footage for their reports.
Marden Year 8 students will be making the news for real on 21 March 2013 as they take part in the BBC News School Report Day. We aim to publish the news by 1600 GMT on News Day, so please save this page as a favourite and return to it later.
Next Friday 16th November we will be taking part in the first of our practice days, so watch this space for our exclusive reports…
Marden High have commenced their BBC School Report Day and are acting as the hub for 5 other schools, feeding news directly to the BBC. Here’s a photo of our team:
St Catherine’s Catholic School have finished their reports and have done them on a Local Zoo, Local Communities, a Little Shocka play that they done themselves. They went on live radio this afternoon and the girls went home after a long day’s work!
Wales High School have now completed their report!
Ryburn have completed their News Report and it’s about to be uploaded onto the website! Everything went really well and our big thanks go out to all those that we interviewed
Marden has now completed EVERYTHING and the stories are being rendered.
