Some highlights from last week’s Year 11 ski trip to Austria.

Congratulations to everyone who took part in Marden’s Got Talent, our annual talent show, last night. Well done to our winner Flo, and all the other brilliant acts that took part. Ticket sales from the show raised £395 for a charity of the School Cabinet’s choice.
Hope you enjoyed the show!
Year 11 students have been investigating chemical analysis techniques – in today’s lesson we have been learning the unique colours that each metal produce when heated. This is how we produce colours in fireworks and how miners/geologists determine which metals are in metal ores.
You can find out more details about these opportunities by logging into your Globalbridge account and searching up opportunities in the North East region.
