Marden High students recently raised more than £240 for the charity Tiny Lives.
Year 7 student Hannah Warne presented Miss Parker with the cheque on Ward 35 of the RVI in Newcastle, the Special Care Baby Unit where Miss Parker’s son, Riley, was born very early. Hannah’s mum is a nurse who works on the ward.
Tiny Lives are the charity that supports premature and sick newborn babies and their families on the Neonatal Unit at the RVI. Miss Parker did the Great North Run for them last year and is doing it again this year!
Well done to everyone for raising money for great cause, and one so special to the staff and students of Marden High!
