Year 11 students have been investigating chemical analysis techniques – in today’s lesson we have been learning the unique colours that each metal produce when heated. This is how we produce colours in fireworks and how miners/geologists determine which metals are in metal ores.
There are two Apprenticeship opportunities available to apply for now, one with Rolls-Royce and the other with Newcastle Law Firm Muckle LLP.

North Tyneside Council’s annual Apprenticeship Fair, Get Up and Go! is back again this year. As usual there will be a variety of employers and training providers with advice on Apprenticeships, training, and employment.
