RESCHEDULED DATE!
Our own Year 8 student Jasmine has received a special mention from the Royal Society of Chemistry for her fantastic efforts in a recent Christmas Card competition.
Well done Jasmine!
Year 9 have now watched all of the screencasts for their options choices. In January they will be asked to pick provisional choices during form time.
Students must choose one option from each block. One of these should be history, geography, computer science, French or German.
Please discuss these choices with your child over the Christmas break. There will be a chance to talk to curriculum leaders about the subjects on January 26th (6.00pm until 8.00pm). The options screencasts and booklet, along with Frequently Asked Questions are available on the school website in the ‘Learning’ and ‘Guided Choices’ section.

This week’s Wednesday update on our new e-Safety page has a Christmas theme: 12 tips about how to stay safe online for any child receiving a new device over the holiday period.
We hope everyone has a good festive break and a happy new year!
On Tuesday, Year 9 sat in on a careers talk from former Marden student Josiah Riley, who spoke to them about studying at Cambridge and his current NanoScience PhD which he is studying! An invaluable and enlightening discussion from a former alumni!
