Thank you to The British Army, Newcastle Upon Tyne Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, Home Group, Golf England, Rook Matthew Sayer, Medical Architecture, Media Works, Protocol Education, Newcastle College, Turner & Townsend, TyneMet College and North Tyneside Council for supporting the year 9 students of Marden High School with a Careers Explorers morning. The students were so engaged and the feedback has been very positive. We hope to welcome you back again in the future!
As part of our ongoing CEIAG programme, we run regular ‘Careers Conversations’ within school. This morning, a vet came in to talk to students about their job and potential opportunities in the sector.
Year 7 took part in a careers workshop this week, hosted by the DWP. They took part in multiple tasks around teamwork, listening skills and leadership.
All this week, students in Year 11 have been taking part in career-based assemblies. Today, they heard about the exciting opportunities available to them from Newcastle College.
