North Tyneside Council – Consultation School Admission Arrangements September 2017

North Tyneside Local Authority has decided to consult on its proposed admission arrangements for Community Schools and on behalf of Governing Bodies for Trust Schools including Grasmere Academy for September 2017.

Admission Authorities must consult on the arrangements in accordance with statutory regulations including Parents. Carers, all schools (including Voluntary Aided and Foundation Schools and Academies) and neighbouring Local Authorities about the admission arrangements for September 2017 by 31 January 2016.

Chromebook Parental Contribution Scheme 2015 – Reminder

The online portal is now open for those wishing to contribute towards their child having a Chromebook. Please visit www.alllearnportal.co.uk/mardenhigh and enter the following school code in the bottom box: MARD321587

The leasing company have confirmed that the sign up deadline is Monday 23rd November in order to receive the device before Christmas.

Back to School Dates

A reminder to all that Tuesday 1st September is a Teacher Training Day at Marden High School.

As usual we will be making a phased start to the Autumn term. The first day of term for Year 7 and Year 11 students only will be Wednesday 2nd September 2015 at the usual time of 8:45am.

The remaining year groups will start term on Thursday 3rd September 2015 at the usual time.
