Congratulations to Year 10 student Remy van Breugel, who took part in the British Schools Indoor Skiing championship on Monday.
He has been working very hard to the build up of the competition and he came 3rd in the under 16 category. A fantastic achievement and is thoroughly deserved due to all his hard work. Well done Remy!

£36.70 from our lunchtime activities, which included a basketball free throwing competition, a golf bucket chip challenge, a football accuracy challenge and a badminton competition.

Congratulations to our Year 9 boys football team, who triumphed in a tough away game to St. Thomas More on Wednesday night. Two goals from Fraser Reed and a penalty from Man of the Match Adam Carr saw them edge a competitive game 3-2. Well done to all involved!

Congratulations to Year 9 student Toby who competed in the British Schools Judo Championships at the English Institute of Sport in Sheffield on Sunday. Toby won his weight category in the U16 tournament. Well done!

On Tuesday evening our dancers took part in the North Tyneside Dance Festival at The Parks. The theme was ‘Living World’ and the girls performed an excellent dance full of energy and expression. Congratulations to all those involved.
Marden students performed magnificently yesterday at the Tyne & Wear Indoor rowing championships. They represented North Tyneside at the Tyne Amateur Rowing club and as we await individual results we can reveal we achieved 1st place in the team relay race, with another team getting third. An outstanding achievement.
Congratulations to the Year 11 boys, who competed at the Tyne & Wear badminton final. They picked up two wins vs. St. Aidans & Whitburn, as well as a narrow defeat to Thorp and a 3-2 loss to RGS. The boys played exceptionally well and battled for every point and each other. Well done!
