 Assistant Headteacher for Maths and Numeracy: L 11-15

Permanent with effect from 1 January 2015

Marden High is a specialist status school for media arts, science and maths. It is well known for its high academic standards, strong sense of family and very high level of student support. The school is ideally situated within a short stroll from Tynemouth Long Sands and picturesque Cullercoats Bay.

We are looking to appoint not only an exceptional mathematician to head the highest achieving maths department in North Tyneside (87.4% A*-C GCSE), but also a strategic and inspirational practitioner to join our senior leadership team.

Applications are invited from those with drive and commitment, who can demonstrate an excellent track record as a successful head of maths, or as an exceptional second in maths.

We wish to appoint an enthusiastic and very able teacher of Girls’ PE to join our successful PE Department.  This challenging opportunity will involve teaching across the age and ability range at KS3 and KS4.  If you are passionate about your subject and are prepared to work hard to have a positive impact on our students, this is the job for you.

If a newly qualified teacher is appointed, continuation of the contract will depend on the successful completion of the induction year.
