Last term, a group of students campaigned for Surfers Against Sewage, producing an assembly and raising awareness of their efforts to help clean up our water systems and oceans.

Here at Marden, we are immensely proud of Year 10 student Archie, who has secured another 2 years registration with Newcastle United Football Club Academy which will take him to Under 16s. He has also been selected to join NUFC 1st team on their pre-season tour to play with the U15/16s in Japan during the summer holidays.Our Year 9 and 10 team look like they’ve had a great time on the Isle of Arran. Latest news is that they have safely disembarked the ferry and onto the coach – due back at school at around 2:30 – 3:00 this afternoon! (Friday 19th).
