Our Sports Day on Monday was a tremendous success, with Alnwick just edging out Warkworth for the overall House trophy. Here’s a video montage of some of the highlights from a jam-packed day of events!
Following on from Mrs Berriman’s assembly this morning, here is a recap of all the activities available to students on the 19th and 20th of July for our Creative Arts Festival. Students have until Thursday of this week to choose their activities!
Mrs Russell’s science class have been learning how metal is extracted from its ores. The class worked in small lab groups to extract copper from copper oxide.
Mrs Russell’s class has been evaluating different models that scientists use to model how energy is transferred via waves.
Mrs Russell’s class have been investigating electromagnets. Students
were challenged to design an electromagnetic that could pick up as
many paper clips as possible.

e-Safety is an important part of keeping children safe in the modern world, and teaching children how to be safe online is a responsibility that we all share. Last term we launched our new e-Safety webpage, which includes weekly tips, safety guidance and information on popular apps, games and websites that are popular with children.
