Last term, a group of students campaigned for Surfers Against Sewage, producing an assembly and raising awareness of their efforts to help clean up our water systems and oceans.
As a thank you, they were presented with these t-shirts and made ocean activists! Well done!

Our Year 10 Modern Foreign Languages team have returned from a spectacular trip in France! Here are some photos of their adventures!
Here at Marden, we are immensely proud of Year 10 student Archie, who has secured another 2 years registration with Newcastle United Football Club Academy which will take him to Under 16s. He has also been selected to join NUFC 1st team on their pre-season tour to play with the U15/16s in Japan during the summer holidays.A reminder to all parents and carers, that students will be dismissed an hour earlier than usual today, after Period 4, at 2:15pm.

Our Year 9 and 10 team look like they’ve had a great time on the Isle of Arran. Latest news is that they have safely disembarked the ferry and onto the coach – due back at school at around 2:30 – 3:00 this afternoon! (Friday 19th).

This mini project allowed the students to experience setting up their own small business, whilst managing the finances and marketing of their ideas. They have developed a greater understanding of CEIAG.
A fantastic £327.65 was raised!
