Students will soon begin attending Guided Choices assemblies where they will hear from departments, and taster lessons from Options subjects. Here is a guide on all you need to know:
As part of European Languages day in Modern Foreign Languages, students made some fabulous cakes and biscuits in a Bake Off competition, then sold them on the last day of term to raise money for the Bay Food Bank. Well done to everyone who took part!
Year 7s have been creating fantastic dioramas for homework, creative plant and animal cells. Here’s some of the best work:

My name is Freddie Fawcett and I am 11 years old. I am running the Junior Great North Run and hope to raise some money for this fantastic charity. Having just moved to the coast and love being in and on the water, know how important the RNLI work to keep people safe. I would be very grateful for any donations no matter how small. Every penny counts. Thank you very much. Freddie.
This week, Year 10 and 11 students enjoyed a trip to the Port of Blyth. They took part in a team challenge in the afternoon, having to prepare and present their ideas to the rest of the group, very professionally!
The staff from the port made several comments about how impressed they were with their team work, professionalism, and innovative creative ideas.
2 teams were given a prize of £15 Amazon vouchers as they were joint winners.
Well done to all who took part!
