Healthcare Science have an exciting opportunity for Year 10-13 students – it is a virtual work experience programme that pupils can complete at their own pace during half term 24th October – 4th November 2022 (around 10 hours).
There are only 300 places nationally, so we would encourage those interested to apply asap! Closing date for applications is 19th October.

Our Halloween Quiz night is on Thursday 20th October at 6:30pm. Fancy dress is encouraged! Six people per quiz team; tickets (£1) are available from the school office or on ParentPay.
On Friday 7 October 2022, Year 10 students will have their school photographs taken.
Students should arrive at school in full uniform for the photographs.
If students are timetabled to have PE on Friday, their PE lesson will have been adapted so they will not need to bring their PE kit into school.

Year 8 student Matthew has taken part in a Judo competition on behalf of Marden High school, the British Regional Schools Championships.
In chemistry, our year 10 students have been investigating the properties of ionic compounds.
Year 7s have been learning how to work safely in science labs. This week they have received their Bunsen burner license!
A reminder that our Maths support evening for parents and carers of Year 7-9 students takes place next Wednesday, the 28th of September, from 5pm. We look forward to seeing you there.
