We are always very keen to hear parents’ views of their own children’s experiences at school. We hope therefore, that all parents will take a few moments to complete the questionnaire which we have sent out, as the more responses we have, the clearer the picture is to us of our areas of strength and areas for development. The links are below, we have separated them into different year groups so that we can offer more bespoke feedback depending on which year your child is in.
We are currently working on our School Development Plan for next year, and the findings from this parent survey will feed into the content of this important working document.
Thank you for your continued support.
Here is a reminder of the enrichment opportunities on offer for Year 11 after half term. Students have access to a similar document where they have been signing up. It is important that students do sign up if they want to attend so staff can prepare. All students must also sign in and out of reception.

– Places will be allocated on a first come, first served basis
– Children will be informed in form time if they have a place or are on the waiting list
– The sessions will be in the sports hall. Children should wear PE kit as they would for a PE day and bring a water bottle
– There will be no charge for this block of sessions
– Sessions will be led by Chris Whinham who holds an up-to-date DBS and is first aid trained

On Monday 12 July 2021 we hosted a remote transition evening for Year 7s joining us in September via Google Meet, where form tutors delivered a short presentation introducing themselves and explaining a little more about the role of a Year 7 Form Tutor.
If you were unable to attend or would like to refer to the information again, here is a recording of Mr Swain (7M’s tutor from September) delivering the presentation.
If you have any further queries or if there is anything that you would like to discuss about your child please do not hesitate to contact me, as Transition Coordinator and Head of Year 7, at [email protected].

The Community School Clothing Scheme is a charity we work with which receives donations of uniform, including shoes, coats, sportswear, plain shirts and trousers. Additionally, any parent or carer struggling to kit their child out can go online and request logo and generic items of uniform free of charge!
You can find out more about the scheme HERE or via their Facebook page.
The following information is being shared with our students as a reminder to stay safe and use social media appropriately outside of school.
