Our Year 9 students enjoyed a great day on Saturday on their #DofE practice expedition. Next stop, BRONZE!
Thanks to everyone who attended our Duke of Edinburgh Ceremony last night, where our Year 10s were awarded with their Bronze certificates after their hard work this year in their expeditions, and their volunteering work. Well done!
Congratulations to our house champions for 2024/25, Bamburgh – their very first title! Mr Richards announced the winner in assembly this morning after they finished the year with a stunning 390,012 points, beating off stiff competition from last year’s champions Warkworth, and former winners Alnwick, who finished third.
The overall house points are now reset to 0 for the new academic year, although individual house points (which can be redeemed for rewards later in the summer term) are currently still valid.
Congratulations to Bamburgh, and may the 2025/26 competition begin!
A fruitful and engaging careers morning yesterday for Year 8 students. Thanks to all the employers who gave up their time to come in and talk to the students!
Congratulations to our Year 7 boys football team, who last night came from behind to beat Longbenton 3-2 in a thrilling Tynemouth and District cup final. Well done to our opponents for a great final and thanks to John Spence for hosting!
Please read the following information from our catering provider, Dolce, and their new menus for the summer term.
Earlier on Friday we were visited by local MP and the government’s Chief Whip Sir Alan Campbell, who took part in a ‘Question Time’ style lecture with Year 9 students who have been doing work in English around social equality. He discussed his role in politics and the economy, and answered questions that Year 9 had prepared about local government and social issues.
