PART TIME RECEPTIONIST
Five mornings per week 8am – 12.30pm, maternity cover commencing as soon as possible
Grade 3 (52/52): £13,874 – £15,039 pro rata
Marden High is a specialist status school for media arts, science and maths. It is well known for its high academic standards, strong sense of family and very high level of student support.
We wish to appoint a capable part time receptionist to staff the busy reception area at Marden High School, 5 mornings per week. Duties include answering telephone enquiries, dealing with visitors, parent and student enquiries, post, deliveries and general administration. The ability to work quickly, accurately and on your own initiative is essential as is a pleasant manner and good keyboard/IT skills.

Design & Technology/STEM Technician
Full time, permanent position commencing as soon as possible
Salary: Grade 5 (ranging from £14,888 – £18,453 dependent upon experience and how many days are worked in the school holidays. This will be negotiated with the successful candidate)

We wish to appoint an enthusiastic and highly skilled D&T / STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Maths) Technician to join our successful D&T Department. This challenging opportunity will involve providing an unrivalled level of support to staff and students in the Technology and STEM department. The successful candidate will be passionate about STEM subjects and able to demonstrate a high level of knowledge and competence in electronics, computer aided manufacture, materials and resources preparation and computer aided design software within the specific areas of electronics, graphics, product design and food technology.
If you have a minimum of 5 A*-C GCSEs including Maths and English, excellent ICT skills and are prepared to work hard to have a positive impact on our students, this is the job for you.

The reception of Marden High School will be open daily, Monday – Friday, 9am – 12noon with the exception of Thursday 31 July and Friday 1 August when it will be closed.
School recommences for Yr 7 & 11 students on Tuesday 2 September and for Yrs 8, 9 &10 on Wednesday 3 September.
Please could all students adhere to the rules about footwear if purchasing new shoes for the new school term. Shoes should be polishable and all black,with no coloured markings. Canvas shoes and trainers ( including Air Max) are not part of our school uniform and therefore should not be worn in school.
