Tesco are currently out of stock with ages 15-16 jumpers. They will be back in stock on Monday but with limited amounts of stock. Parents/carers are advised to purchase quickly. Alternatively jumpers can be bought from Anne Thomas Workware or parents/carers can purchase their own jumper and sew on a Marden logo.
So I am sat in the Incheon International Airport, waiting to board and I am not surprised in the slightest that there is WiFi everywhere.
On the final day of term, Activities Week has finished with a flourish and we have raised more than £600 from our non-uniform day. Students have been taking part in all sorts of activities, including an afternoon fun run round the field to raise money for WhizzKidz, a charity which helped Year 11 student Jake get a new outdoor wheelchair.
Please take a look at our summer newsletter.
Please take a look below at some of the exciting things that went on in activities week.
Following the hard work of Marden’s governors, the school has raised funds to buy a minibus to be used for trips, activities and sports events. Governors Don Charlton and Anne Carlile handed over the keys to Mr. Morris and Year 11 students Neve, Isaac and Tom.
Marden were visited by Chinese headteachers today, who dropped in to lessons all morning and took in a talk from the school cabinet.
