This Christmas, Marden are collecting donations for The BAY Foodbank.
They are a charity who support people in North Tyneside who may be struggling and unable to afford to eat. Lots of people who work full time jobs may still need to use a food bank and very vulnerable people are supported by the amazing work that food banks do.
Please bring any tins or packets of food to H1, E2 or the Media Studio. For more information, see the posters round the school or ask Mrs Macleod for details.
We are also, as always, collecting for Newcastle Dog and Cat shelter! Any cat and dog food tins, blankets, toys etc. are most welcome.
Please bring items for the Dog and Cat Shelter to Mrs Williams, Ms Griffiths or Mrs Proud in the LRC.
Donations for both the Foodbank Appeal and the Dog and Cat Shelter will be rewarded with House Points!
BIMA Digital Day 2019 gave 40 Marden High School students across Years 9 and 10 the chance to gain an insight into a world of digital careers. As part of the day, working in collaboration with local digital development company, Blue Cookie, our students completed one of three sponsored challenges for a chance to be crowned BIMA Digital Day champions.
Over 7000 Students in 190 schools across 124 UK cities took part in Digital Day 2019. Our students represented themselves and the school impeccably, with our guest from Blue Cookie being astounded by how passionate, enthusiastic and innovative our students were throughout the whole of Digital Day.
