Thank you to everyone who donated to our Dog and Cat Shelter appeal before Christmas. Newcastle Dog and Cat Shelter were extremely grateful for all the food, toys and blankets raised for their animals and took delivery of all donations this afternoon. Yet more brilliant selflessness from generous Marden students!
Last night Marden’s successful badminton teams once again excelled themselves, winning two out of three matches, and all three teams have qualified to represent North Tyneside in the Tyne & Wear Championships.
We are very proud of our students at Marden and their food bank collection was a huge success. While their efforts were amazing, we are not surprised at all as kindness is typical of Marden students. Our donation will be delivered today to the Bay Food Bank and we hope it will have a positive impact upon our local community.
