Year 7 and 8 Festive Hockey match versus Marden Bridge on Monday, 16th December 2013. Both the year 7’s and 8’s won both of their games in a fun match at Marden Bridge.
Year 8’s results vs MB year 8’s – won 5-2
Year 8’s vs MB year 7’s            – won 7-0
year 7’s vs MB year 7’s   – won 4-0
Year 7’s vs MB year 8’s – won 3-1!!!!!!!
Well done to all those who took part.

Hayley’s Artwork Hangs Proudly

Marden alumnus Hayley Anderson’s stunning artwork, which won ITV Daybreak’s Sketch Santa competition last month, has arrived at the school in the form of a huge banner, which now hangs proudly in the main hall. Some current Marden students and Art teacher Mrs Noble, who helped Hayley to her A* last year, posed with the banner of Hayley’s winning design.

Double Success for Cross Country Team

The results of the recent North Tyneside Cross Country tournament at Churchill Playing Fields have revealed that Marden have not one but two winning teams!

Both the Boys and Girls Intermediate teams won their team events following strong runs from our Year 10s and Year 11s – and the best placed of those students will go through to represent the school at County level at Temple Park in South Shields in January. Well done to all the runners!
