On Friday, Miss Davis arranged for students to take part in an assault course to raise money for Cancer Research UK.

Marden’s Year 10 Drama students are taking part in an exciting event in early June, the upcoming Electic Iron Festival in Cullercoats.
Students will kick off the weekend event on Thursday 4th June at Cullercoats Crescent Club, performing ‘Fracking in Cullercoats’, a play they have been working on with local writer Peter Mortimer.
Tickets for this event are £6 and available from our finance office, please pay by either cash or cheque. Be sure to look out for other events taking place on Cullercoats Sea Front between Thursday 4th and Sunday 7th June.
Tickets are available now from the Finance Office. Price of ticket includes refreshments. Concert expected to last until approximately 8:45pm. Proceeds of ticket sales will go to resources and future musical productions.
The ICT department recently took some students to the first ever CodeWars event in Newcastle, a three hour competition all about Coding. For more information on the event and to see some of our students in action, watch this video.
