TERM 1

Content

Students learn to talk about holiday preferences and then should be able to describe a past trip as well as an ideal holiday.  They should learn to book and review hotels, as well as being able to order in a restaurant.  They must be able to talk about travelling and holiday catastrophes.

TERM 2

Content

Students learn to talk about the world and environmental issues.  They should be able to discuss social issues and use vocabulary related to health and well-being.

Learning new verbs in the infinitive form

Making connections between word types

Manipulating language to make it your own

Giving arguments for and against

 

TERM 3

Content

Students will learn to discuss career choices, hopes and dreams for the future.  They will discuss the importance of languages and will learn to apply for jobs as well as understanding case studies.
