On Saturday, our History Detectives walked around Cullercoats and placed blue plaques on houses where fallen soldiers had lost their lives during the First World War.

Year 11 student Hannah Sparkes is raising money for a Newcastle Freeman Hostpital based charity, Charlie Bear for Cancer Care, and has made a tremendous sacrifice, shaving her head in support of her mum, who is undergoing chemotherapy treatment.
