The school bell rang twice this morning at 11am, and Year 10 students Calum and Benny played bugles in the school’s reception to mark Remembrance Day as the rest of the school paid their respects with a two minute silence.

As Year 11 Isaac Sidney steps down after a year as Young Mayor of North Tyneside, Year 9 student Rebecca Moore has the opportunity to take over and make it a second consecutive Young Mayor from Marden High School. She is down to the last four candidates for the position, so make sure you vote for Rebecca when the polls open between the 18th and 20th of November. Here is her campaign video:

Year 11 and Year 9 interim reports have now been emailed out to parents’ @mardenhigh.net email addresses. Parents can log in to the school website using the details which were sent out last term. Please note that if a forwarding address to a personal email account was set up parents will still need to log in to the school website to view the actual report.
