A big thank you to everyone who donated food and goodies for the Newcastle cat & dog shelter. Winston the dog came to school today to gratefully accept our donations!
Students in Access presented Age UK with a cheque for £105, after the latest of our fundraising activities last week, coinciding with our Christmas jumper day, which also raised funds for cat and dog shelters and Cash For Kids.

Marden has excelled itself once more with our fundraising efforts, Metro Radio’s Courage the Cat came in this afternoon to collect all the gifts students brought in for the Cash For Kids appeal, and donations were also make to Age UK. Well done!

Key date is 8th January for the closing of nominations at 12 noon and also for the induction evening for candidates from 5:30pm at Riverside Children Centre.

Festive Non-Uniform Day
On Thursday 11th December, we are already planning our Christmas lunch in the cafe, now we intend to hold a festive non-uniform day to raise money for Cash for Kids and Age UK.
